Sampha and The xx nominated for The BRIT Awards 2018
Both Sampha and The xx have been announced as nominees for this year's BRIT Awards. Sampha is one of the 5 best "British Breakthrough Acts" while The xx will compete in the "British Group" category.
There are two categories in which the audience is going to decide the outcome one of them being "British Breakthrough Act". While we do support Mercury Prize-winning Sampha ("Process" - album, 2017) and admire his great music and talent, unfortunately the vote is open only for UK residents. :)
The xx ("I See You" - album, 2017) was happy to hear the good news while touring in Australia. They sent a summery photo with a thank you message to their Facebook fans from down under.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for both Young Turks Recordings artists until 21st February, the big night of The Brit Awards 2018.
